Mr. Bailey, an affiliated investment professional with American Portfolios who serves on the firm’s AP Advisor Council (APAC), is the founder of Bailey Financial Planning—an independent, privately-owned firm that specializes in creating personalized financial plans for its clients based on four critical steps: determining risk, asset allocation, implementation, and monitoring and reporting. He graduated from Youngstown State University with a degree in finance and accounting, and a minor in economics. A financial planner with more than 20 years’ experience, Mr. Bailey has received some of the finance industry’s top designations including Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Advisor for Senior Living (CASL).  He is also president of the Salem Rotary Club, VP of the Salem City School Board and a Salem Community Foundation Board member.
